The hotel is just ok, regular Ibis Budget. Super close to city centre, safe area, clean rooms and great staff. Even though I had to suffer two nights the noise coming from the adjacent rooms and corridor, the receptionist was very considered and offered me an extra night for free as compensation. All of the reception staff were very nice and welcoming.
The location is very good, less than a hundred yards and you're in the town centre. Self check in was easy enough - glad I had my glasses with me though! The bed was very comfortable. Does exactly what it says on the tin... Cheap / Cheerful / Budget / Basic - but very good value for money - especially on a Saturday night...
Institutional feel to the place - felt like an upmarket youth hostel - but spotlessly clean, good vfm and great location for the Uni.
Great location, plenty of room and felt safe. Ideal for work.
Great location for accessing local countryside, as well as the train station being so close that I could easily travel up the Calderdale Valley. The cottage is really lovely and exceptionally well furnished. Everything was just right and I slept really well every night. I totally recommend popping over to the public market for a morning hot choc, too. Cheap and delicious. I 100% recommend Central Tod Cottage.
Great location, clean and comfortable for a hostel.great value for money.
I wanted a budget hotel near railway station, exactly what I got. Great location, very clean, good price, thanks
Wonderful old building in a great location. As a solo traveler the hostel felt really cosy and safe, with great common areas and kitchen facilities. I thought the 4 person rooms were really great value and I especially liked that the windows looked out onto the mountains. The manager made me feel really welcome and her dog was such a gentle and sweet presence to have around. I would absolutely stay again when I return to the area!
Excellent location and cheaper than other Leeds Central establishments. Only discovered on arrival that it is a school for clergy, but this explains the austerity of furniture and decor, and certainly made for an interesting and different overnight stay! No frills but pristinely clean. Good breakfast at communal tables. Feels like a convent mixed with a Youth hostel.
