Cavendish Court is part of a select housing development on the edge of the picturesque Castle Howard village of Slingsby near York in North Yorkshire. The peaceful village nestles on the northern edge of the Howardian Hills in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is a great base to explore York, Malton, Helmsley, Pickering, the North Yorkshire Moors and the Coast. The village facilities include the Grapes a destination pub & local bakery. Malton (Yorkshire’s food capital) is short drive away. Slingsby is perfectly placed with gentle walks around the village or walk along the old railway line to Hovingham. Enjoy a rest in the Park Cafe, Hovingham Bakery, The Hovingham Inn or The Worsley Arms Hotel and enjoy the stroll back to Slingsby. A car is beneficial to fully enjoy the wealth of villages and surroundings near Slingsby. Hovingham less than 5 mins by car has a great Village Shop providing all your essentials. Malton (Yorkshire Food Capital) is less than 10 mins by car and provides a Morrisons Supermarket and a fantastic range of independent shops, restaurant, pubs & cafes.
