Fishermans Cottage is a charming detached 18th century cottage on the edge of Southwell, with excellent sea views. Full central heating throughout and Wi Fi. On the ground floor there is a lounge / diner with sea view, a reception room, a fully equipped kitchen, a cloakroom, laundry facilities and a garden room. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms: The Twin Bedroom, with window looking east over the sea with views as far as purbeck. The Double Bedroom, has an uninterrupted sea view south over Freshwater Bay and out into the English Channel. The Master Bedroom, once again with uninterrupted sea views to the south. It also has an ensuite shower room. All bedrooms have ample storage, dressing area, mirrors and radio alarm clocks. There are two bathrooms, the main bathroom and the ensuite shower room, both are finished to a high standard. This cottage has a pleasant walled side and rear garden with Hot Tub, patio areas, lawn and planting. Bed linen and towels are provided free of charge. If going to the beach or using the hot tub please bring extra. Cot, Highchair and stairgate available on request. Quiet Village Location situated close to Jurassic coast path.
We have six holiday cottages located on the Isle of Portland, Fishermans and Cliffwalk are situated in the quiet village of Southwell, Pebble Reef in Wakeham, Guillemot in Easton village, Lloyds Cottage and The Old Boat House at the picturesque Portland Bill. They are all quite literally a minute or twos walk from the south west jurassic coastal path, making them ideal for anybody wishing to spend their holiday partaking in activities such as walking, bird watching, cycling or rock climbing. All cottages have WiFi. Five of our cottages have Hot Tubs. Although they are situated in a quiet location, amenities and shops are only a short distance away in Easton, and a trip to Weymouth town centre will only take about 20 minutes by car. The cottages are not far from Portland Bill, and Church Ope Cove (a lovely little pebble beach favored by locals) is not far away either. If you have never been to Portland then we strongly recommend it, its a lovely place and there is lots to do. If you have been before then you already know this is true.
