Enjoy a warm welcome in this converted farm. It is an ideal base for walkers and cyclists, being close to Cycle Route 72 and the most spectacular parts of Hadrian's Wall in the beautiful South Tyne Valley and Northumberland National Park.We are close to the market towns of Hexham with it's Abbey and historic Corbridge with a good mix of high quality independent shops. The Gin Gan is 6 miles away from Langley Castle and near the Roman forts of Vindolanda, Chesters, Housesteads and related museums. The Tyne Valley is ideally placed for getting out and about and if you wish to venture further afield, the area affords easy access to the Lake District, the Scottish Borders, and the stunning, pristine beaches if the north Northumberland coast. We offer a choice of either continental or full english breakfast. If you have special dietary requirements, please advise in advance. Unfortunately, there is no disabled access to the property.

I am now retired and my children have flown the nest. I enjoy making guests feel at home when they stay at the Gin Gan.

The Gin Gan is located in a quiet village. There is a regular bus service to Hexham, Corbridge and Newcastle. The bus stop is a minutes walk and the A69 is a five minute drive. There is a regular train service between Newcastle and Carlisle stopping at Hexham.
