Located in Barrow-in-Furness, Ormsgill Inn features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar, as well as the pool table and darts board.

Furness Abbey is 3.2 km from Ormsgill Inn. Walney Island is 3.4 km from the property, while the edge of the Lake District National Park is 17.5 km away.

We stayed here for 11 nights. We have enjoyed the area; discovered the nature reserves along the coast line, the mosses and the hills and lakes of the closeby Lake District. The variation of landscapes in one area is unique. Every day we started with a tradional English breakfast and finished most days with a beer in the pub. There is an enclosed car-park as you need a car around here. There is wide range of restaurants in the city center. Lynn and Jim are enjoying running their Inn.

What can I say, the whole experience was exceptional. Breakfast was plentiful. Dinner was delicious. The staff were attentive and made me feel like they were working just for me, particularly the staff at breakfast and dinner. It was lovely to have a bit of interaction and a laugh or two. The grounds were sensational and the walk to the abbey was magnificent. The checking in and out process was seamless. I cannot recommend high enough. So glad it was available.

Everything went well. If I had to select one area it would have to be dinner on my first night. The shoulder of lamb pie was superb but so was everything else about my stay. Thank you very much.

Lovely little hotel tucked away in the Lakes, great views and plenty of parking. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff with a decent restaurant on site for both dinner and breakfast. Rooms were really warm which was great as it was pretty cold when we stayed.

Really nice decorations, pleasant hotel. We had dinner once and it was really tasty and portions were quite big. We loved that it's dog friendly and there's been quite a few dogs there. Beach is close but maybe not so much a walking distance if you have a dog that's anxious about walking on the road, we drive there which was 2 minutes away. Staff was very helpful

The location of the hotel, the friendly and welcoming staff. The quality and standard of the rooms and food (Oscars restaurant, dinner and breakfast). The walks around the grounds.

Breakfast was good, as was dinner (we stayed for dinner on both nights). Staff were excellent. Liked Walney but not a fan of Barrow-in-Furness itself though!

The breakfast was great. Dinner was great the night before. Staff was lovely. Room was clean and comfortable with great view. Our only complaint was we were right above the bar and could hear the music. But we were tired so fell asleep pretty quick.
