What a treat. We arrived and found we had been upgraded. Our rooms were just up the road and in a building all to ourselves with a charming courtyard and very quiet. We have an electric car and the manager kindly let us charge at no extra cost too. Additionally, the hotel is so central in this beautiful village full of great restaurants and shops (although the restaurant at the hotel was awesome so you don't need to go anywhere else).

The room was quaint, comfortable and clean, with additional tea facilities within the room. Additionally, bottled water was placed either side of our bed. The staff were very warm and welcoming. Chris really went out of his way to ensure our break was memorable. We would return just to see him again. We booked in for the dinner on the second evening. Goodness me, it was first class.
