Manager was wonderful. We had a problem with our room and Kerry moved us to a family room which I can highly recommend. She went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent and other food was very good. All the staff were friendly and courteous.

The food at the restaurant was good. There was adequate parking space. The staff who welcomed us was friendly. The room was equipped with what we needed for the night and looked lovely.

We were lucky enough to be among the first guests after the take-over by new owners and the refurb of the rooms. What a beautiful room we had - no expense was spared. The decor details are thoughtful and stylish and consider the old character of the inn. The furniture is proper oak and good quality, the bed comfy, the bathroom finished to a high spec with all the creature comforts one likes to have when far from home. The breakfast was yummy and freshly prepared and the hosts were friendly and open to help where they could. And, the hot chocolate is divine. The pub was a lovely place to hang out in so all in all, a very pleasant stay and we'd recommend it wholeheartedly.
