A Traditional 17th-century village freehouse with a beautiful riverside location, set on the very edge of the Exmoor National Park, tucked in between Cleeve Abbey and Torre Cider Farm, our idyllic location is the perfect base from which to explore some of Exmoor's most renowned beauty spots.

Great staff, friendly locals, good food, clean and comfortable room with little touches such as ear plugs (but we didn’t need them).

I stayed here only for one night, it's perfectly located to start the SWCP. This is a wonderful place to stay, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Loved the food as well for dinner and for breakfast and would have loved to stay longer.

Dog friendly guest house and great hosts. Breakfast was amazing. Dogs are not allowed in the dining room. However, the host made sure we could take Breakfast together in the lounge. Perfect. Hotel only minutes away from the town and amenities and plenty of parking. Great stay, thank you

The showers were lovely and made stones standout, better than the Premier Inn. The hotel although on top of the bar and restaurant it was quiet in the rooms like you are separate. The staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was lovely with a large selection of choices.
