The inn was set in a beautiful village called Cassington. It was quaint and pretty with old world style features, oak beam ceilings and a set back fireplace. Parking bay too. The inn was warm and comfortable. It was lovely and clean with fresh bed linen and towels. The Landlady and The Landlord were friendly and they went out of their way to make our trip special. Dogs were welcome too.

Good size, quiet room with modern en suite bathroom, situated above their restaurant in residential area near the Thames, the train station and about 15 minute walk to center of city. We enjoyed delicious cooked breakfasts as part of our stay. Steaks are their dinner speciality, and they also had vegetarian options.

The host was lovely, and sorted us out with a parking permit (had to park 5 mins away at Athena guest house rather than Atlas, but no biggie) It was nice and close to the O2 Academy Oxford where we were going to see a gig. The room had a fridge, TV, and coffee/tea/hot chocolate facilities.

Adored this place! This was my second time staying here, but this time, I decided to stay a week instead of two days, and it was even better than my first stay. The great location, cute historic building, and absolutely lovely, kind, and attentive staff all contributed to a wonderful experience. It was also very cosy, which was great since I came in January. I also loved the pub right next door, Turf Tavern, which was a great place to grab dinner or a drink at the end of the day. All in all a great place. I will definitely be back!
