We loved how friendly the staff were and the meal we had in the evening was excellent 👌 Considering it was a last minute booking over the Easter weekend, we were very lucky. It's dog friendly, and we were shown a field where we could exercise our dog, as the pub is situated on a main road. Our request of some cooked chicken for our dog at dinner time, was no problem at all and he was given some more at breakfast too! Would highly recommend.

Very friendly inn with relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff. The bed was particularly comfortable with a good mattress and lovely new sheets. The location could not be better, in the centre of Richmond. We were able to park in the hotel car park which saved us the headache of finding a parking spot in the town.

We had a lovely stay in this wonderful old hotel. It had been very well updated to retain all the old features and charm but to be warm and comfortable. It is in the centre of Richmond so very well located both for the town and surrounding area. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and well equipped (especially liked the yellow duck in the bathroom! 😊). Breakfast was very good. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel but it was within easy walking distance of other eateries.
