The staff went above expectations to insure we had a great stay. Restaurant was exceptional. Neighborhood Lounge and bar was on premise. Bus stop at hotel entrance. Loved the thick walls and breakfast room decor. But the staff is what makes this an excellent place to stay. Location is about twelve miles out of Edinburgh and is in walking distance to Roslyn Chapel.

We meant two couples and spent a couple of hours in the bar chatting. The location was great. We were able to catch the bus into Edinburgh right out front which was very convenient.

The Guest House has a lot of character and our room was very comfortable, spacious and immaculately clean. We travelled to visit the Rosslyn Chapel, which is amazing, and the Guest House is a very short walk away. We had dinner at the Pub across the road, which was also excellent.
