All the staff were friendly and helpful. The pub atmosphere was excellent with everyone joining in the collective card games. The food was excellent, as was the assistance in ordering a suitable vegetarian and vegan mean. 5 🌟 Already looking forward to the next visit!

Loved the log burner, the decor, rustic feeling overall, the quietness, and the views. Loved the special care shown the owners by having a bottle of Proseco in the fridge and fresh flowers.

Fantastic cottage for the four of us for an overnight stay in Wimbourne for a birthday dinner. Richard was great at responding to any questions prior to arrival and then ensured we had all the details to get into the property. The cottage itself is beautiful with all modern conveniences but a lovely traditional cottage charm. The thoughtful touches were much appreciated - the chalk board with the welcome message and WiFi code and a bottle of wine on arrival. Really comfortable and cosy. Just wished we could have stayed longer.

I was travelling alone but meeting family there. The hotel was convenient for a family visit and we've stayed here before. Staff are welcoming and the hotel is an old coaching inn so it has some charm and is central to Wimborne. The breakfast was well presented and very good. We didn't eat there in the evening as its close to very good local restaurants.

We had to leave early to catch the ferry, the host was really helpful with good directions and prepared a carry out breakfast which was very tasty and much needed while we waited to board.Room was clean with plenty of Tea and Coffee with some biscuits - always a winning formula. The location was perfect for a short drive to Poole harbour so didn't have to get up too early.

Lovely location in a 17th century coaching inn, oak-panelled room, very comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast (free) in pub managed by same company a short walk away, complete with honey direct from the comb! I also appreciated the phone call from the accommodation manager to inform me of particular arrangements for the evening of my arrival - thank you, Conor.
