One of my top favorites of 11 places I stayed during my Cotswold Way walk. The staff here was truly amazing! The food at the pub was outstanding. Everyone made me feel welcome and valued. The wonderful lady who helped me by calling a taxi for me the next morning was so appreciated. I had a rough couple of days on trail due to stomach problems. Her kindness in waiting outside with me and her encouragement helped me to keep on trekking! Highly recommend this place!

We had great dinner (recommended to dine there during your stay as there aren't many other options in the village) and we also had a great breakfast in the morning included in the stay.

A great combination of old and new. Lovely bed, linen, toiletries, nice en-suite with good shower. On-site pub and restaurant but unfortunately I didn't have time to sample these.

It is the perfect combination of rustic and chic, and I enjoyed the comfortable bed, soaking tub, and roomy bathroom. Staff was friendly, and food and drinks were delicious! This was my favorite of four different inns we stayed at on our walking trip.

Matthew was very friendly and welcoming and the two front of house ladies, Rachel and Charli were absolutely first class, so friendly, helpful and good fun. Location is great, we visited Sudeley Castle and Winchcombe GWR, both of which are within walking distance and well worth a visit. I can't recommend this place highly enough and we will definitely be going back.JaniceYoung couple
