Just 4 miles from Bath, The Wheatsheaf Combe Hay is a West Country inn dating back to the 1500s. This is a beautiful country pub, the accommodation has been very tastefully decorated and has all the facilities you need. The food in the restaurant was great.

Located 8 miles from the historic cities of Bath and Bristol, The Carpenters Arms is in the tranquil and scenic hamlet of Stanton Wick, near the village of Pensford, in the heart of the Chew Valley... beautifully located and decorated. The art work was fascinating. All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The food was fabulous and the choices excellent.

Everything..Adam and lee were amazing hosts. Restaurant Food was very good indeed. The bar was a small village bar with a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Bed super comfortable, very clean rooms and tea coffee tray very well stocked. Fans are supplied in the rooms (so regards old comments about rooms being hot ) this was NOT an issue for us. We found this hotel very clean and beds very comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was prompt and delicious! Will be booking again!

The Bear in Bath offers luxurious accommodation in addition to its relaxing restaurant and bar. The staff were so friendly, I felt immediately relaxed and comfortable. Loved the food in the restaurant and had a great Malbec that I will now be seeking to buy, now that I am home. The room and facilities were amazing, and as this was for my partner's birthday, she was suitably impressed.
