Bel & The Dragon at The Red Lion is a historic grade II-listed coaching inn with stunning features dating back to 1669 and possibly even earlier in origin; much of the original building still stands. The room was large, very clean and a huge bed. Lots of nice extras in the room like coffee pods, biscuits a small glass of sloe gin each. Very quiet and breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices.

We were impressed with the staff and service.. They were welcoming and attentive. The food and service were excellent. We went back several days for morning coffee and Sunday dinner after we had checked out. We enjoyed drinks outside at the bar. The rooms were large clean and comfortable especially considering it is a 15th century coaching inn. The location is in the heart of the town. Walking distance to everything. We could happily have stayed longer.

A beautifully appointed room, comfortable bed and linen ensured an excellent night's sleep. Restaurant on site was excellent. Shout out to the management who fulfilled a request for a birthday wish for my son's 40th.

Lovely little pub on the outskirts of MK. Cosy room in a converted barn, had everything we needed and breakfast was best I've had in a long while. Staff couldn't do enough, made a great coffee too.

Amazing value. Breakfast is superb. Highly recommend!
