Situated in picturesque Long Whatton, The Royal Oak is 10 minutes’ drive from East Midlands Airport. With spacious rooms and cooked breakfasts, there is also a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. I was at a wedding all day and therefore had no service to call or receive calls. We couldn’t check in until closer to 12am. They were closed and we panicked a bit when we got there. But they taped an envelope to the door with my name on it which had the check in instructions and an apology for not being able to get a hold of us. Sweet staff. Everything was great. Breakfast was *chefs kiss.*

Just 15 minutes’ drive from Leicester’s centre, The Narborough Arms is friendly pub dating back to the 17th century. It offers traditional inn style rooms and boasts free on-site parking. The location was good, the room was lovely and the food was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Situated 1.6 km from Loughborough University in Loughborough, The Peacock Inn features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Great room for the price, wouldn't find anything better for that price
