The Laird And Dog is located in the Midlothian village of Lasswade, 15 minutes’ drive from Edinburgh. It offers a conservatory-style restaurant, rooms with free Wi-Fi and free parking. The people were awesome, made it a great stay! The location in terms of driving to places we wanted to go and having public bus outside the door was terrific. Great place to park and have a pint at the end of the day.

It was very quiet and peaceful. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. We had an excellent breakfast.

From check in to check out the experience far exceeded our expectations. The room was just gorgeous! The food both at breakfast and evenings for dinner were delicious. Your staff were personable and extremely helpful. Just an extremely lovely experience. We cannot thank you enough. You all truly made our anniversary very, very special. The West Port Hotel is a traditional Scottish pub and restaurant in the historic town of Linlithgow, West Lothian. It offers en suite rooms with satellite TVs and free Wi-Fi. The hotel staff were very kind. They greeted us with a smile and shared the necessary information with us. The room was comfortable. We really liked the overall ambiance of the hotel. There was a restaurant and bar downstairs, and the food and drinks were quite good. Rather than staying in luxurious, detached, and impersonal hotels, it's satisfying to be somewhere you can feel comfortable, where the staff makes you feel at ease. Breakfast was included and was very good. Thanks so much for everything!
