The Laird And Dog is located in the Midlothian village of Lasswade, 15 minutes’ drive from Edinburgh. It offers a conservatory-style restaurant, rooms with free Wi-Fi and free parking. The people were awesome, made it a great stay! The location in terms of driving to places we wanted to go and having public bus outside the door was terrific. Great place to park and have a pint at the end of the day.

It was a great experience and so grateful by the warm welcome of them, they arranged the cakes and balloons and make sure when we arrived everything was ready for a surprise! And our room was exceptional & spotlessly clean thanks for upgrading our room! The food is so delicious and outstanding! Plus the drinks and dessert is a must!! You dont need to go anywhere else as below they cater all the superb most scottish food! I love the vibes of the place with the cheerful staff around! This is my first time in Scotland and living in a sandpit country is way different...Im so glad to find this place and will definitely comeback!

Located in East Linton, 34 km from Edinburgh, The Crown Guest House features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Every room has a flat-screen TV. The location and rooms were perfect. Truly feel the experience of Scotland. Billy the owner was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions. The Scottish breakfast Delicious and the coffee was perfect!

Set in the village of Roslin, The Original Rosslyn Inn is an idyllic village inn, just 8 miles from Edinburgh’s city centre. This family-run property has a traditional pub and a fine dining... The staff went above expectations to insure we had a great stay. Restaurant was exceptional. Neighborhood Lounge and bar was on premise. Bus stop at hotel entrance. Loved the thick walls and breakfast room decor. But the staff is what makes this an excellent place to stay. Location is about twelve miles out of Edinburgh and is in walking distance to Roslyn Chapel.

The West Port Hotel is a traditional Scottish pub and restaurant in the historic town of Linlithgow, West Lothian. It offers en suite rooms with satellite TVs and free Wi-Fi. The hotel staff were very kind. They greeted us with a smile and shared the necessary information with us. The room was comfortable. We really liked the overall ambiance of the hotel. There was a restaurant and bar downstairs, and the food and drinks were quite good. Rather than staying in luxurious, detached, and impersonal hotels, it's satisfying to be somewhere you can feel comfortable, where the staff makes you feel at ease. Breakfast was included and was very good. Thanks so much for everything!
