Lovely community Inn, felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Good atmosphere, with lovely food. Had an event to attend in Catterick so wasn't too far to travel. Situated in a peaceful village.

Excellent location and although the restaurant food in the Hotel is very good, there is a Wetherspoons across the road serving their full range until 11.00 p.m. which is cheap, super good with a great range of craft an bottled beers - also unlimited coffee and chocolate. the breakfasts are comprehensive serving porridge and fresh fruit,as well as a full English Pop They also have an orange squeezer for fresh juice, but it was not operational during my visit— I was told a spare part had been ordered .

Located in Bedale and with Lightwater Valley Theme Park reachable within 15 km, The Green Dragon at Bedale provides a bar, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and barbecue facilities. Our stay was wonderful! The food was delicious, and the location was perfect. There is no parking right at the pub but we were pointed to a nearby free parking. Highly recommended!
