The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. The room was a great size and super clean. Loved the whole property and location. We sat out the back at table and chairs before dinner and the view is spectacular of the church and scenery. The people serving us for dinner were wonderful and very friendly (quite young) but made it enjoyable and we asked them questions of where to go in the area. Loved the stay here.

The Bower Inn is an 18th-century building, located just off the M5 motorway and 2 miles from Bridgwater town centre. It offers stylish rooms with luxury bathrooms and delicious homemade food. Wonderful place, breakfast was super and also the traditional pie the best I have ever tried

The onsite restaurant serves a range of dishes, catering for vegans and vegetarians also. It's a community-owned pub/cafe/restaurant so the atmosphere is very friendly and it was always busy - There's a positive buzz that's omnipresent. Breakfast was toast, pastries, and cereals, simply help yourself - We didn't miss a cooked breakfast, at all, there was sufficient to see us into the day. The room was fabulous - Huge bed (large double) that was really comfy, en suite shower was immaculate, and the view from the window onto a country lane from which we regularly saw horses go by. Deadly silent by night, which was great, even with the window open. Will definitely be back!
