    Breath taking. Amazing. Beautiful.

Breath taking. Amazing. Beautiful. My most favourite mountain. But remember as touristy as it is, it's still a mountain you are climbing and conditions can change quickly so wear proper clothing and shoes and take plenty of water and food.

We walked up the miners track and back down into llanberis.

We walked up the miners track and back down into llanberis. Miners is very scenic with a bit of climbing but llanberis is relentlessly very steep with pretty much the same views as you walk on it's path. The miners seemed to have different scenes around every corner...magnificent!

there are several walks up Mount Snowdon for the day walker but the Knife Edge walk is really only for the experienced walkers. Check the weather forecast and keep alert as it can cloud over very quickly and become very dangerous. Remember Snowden has been there for a long time and will be there the next time so don't risk it if there is any doubt in your mind.

It's a very great place for trekking.

It's a very great place for trekking. I would recommend people to wear proper trekking shoes as it has some lose rocks on the way and this way to summit can be quite treacherous if you are not careful and I would suggest to carry water as you will get dehydrated along the way.

The hostel itself is beautiful, very nicely decorated, with loads of information scattered all over the main room. The bunk bed area is nice and tidy. Toilets are clean and decent. There is a terrace with a beautiful view and plenty of parking. A really good base for any trips in Snowdonia. Sonni was very helpful and replied to my queries instantly.

The Royal Victoria Hotel Snowdonia is a great hotel to stay in to explore the nearby beautiful towns of north Wales such as Portmeirion, Caernarfon and Conwy. The hotel is just a 2 minute walk from the where you can also catch the Snowdonia mountain train. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was very good. We also eat in the bar on a few occasions and the food was great. We will definitely be returning in the near future

I loved the location as it was next to Snowdonia mountain and it was a beautiful location, although a way from the town with more amenities. I loved the buffet breakfast, and most staff were accommodating and attentive. Our room was nice and clean. Lots of facilities in the hotel and loved the food from padarn restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic location for walking around Snowdon and the National park. Incredible value for money, especially going in December when I went. Great kitchen facilities to make your own food. I ended up being ‘upgraded’ to a 6 person dormitory all to myself. The beds all have plug sockets accessible which was great and a little light also. A very well structured and kept hostel. The breakfast was good value for money.
