We visited in March 2024...4 adults which cost £97.00. the tour took 30 minutes and alot of the chambers were shut due to rain and water levels ..not explained on booking. So would advise that you don't visit this time of the year

This is a MEGA child focused place.

This is a MEGA child focused place. Don't be fooled like us and expect much time in the caves. It was rush rush, with a guide who couldn't care less. I think enough said is crying babies + echoing caves! The rest of the place is bizarre (and not in the good way), cheap hall or mirrors, old school pokies machines and a random dinosaur park? Save your money (apparently there are caves in Cheddar that are for the adults - whoops!).

Staff exceptionally cheerful and helpful; Good extensive parking at this time of the year; very attractive location as long as you are not put off by all the Wookey Hole caves razzmatazz right next to the hotel. no problem with noise - just the visuals. Also you need to be prepared to drive along narrow roads for access

It was great to find that the hotel is literally at Wookey hole caves and we had a great holiday. The room was a good size for 4 of us and had space for our stuff and tea-making facilities. The games room in the back conservatory was handy.

Friendly owners, comfortable clean room and bathroom which was spacious enough for the 3 of us. Morning breakfast was excellent with good choice and lovely service. Would highly recommend, only a short drive from Wells and Glastonbury with Wookey Hole caves close by. Our 7 year old adored the Guinea pigs. Adequate parking available and a pub opposite.

The room was very well set out and very comfortable, well equipped with everything we needed. Very quiet location, which allowed us to sleep peacefully. Excellent breakfast, everything fresh, tasty and of very good quality. Beautiful surroundings, in a lovely village, close to Wells and other touristic attractions (Ebber Gorge, Wookey Hole caves, etc.), so no need to travel afar. The hosts were warm and friendly, very helpful and easy to talk to, and the guided tour of the water mill was an unexpected and much appreciated bonus.

The hotel is excellent value for money, and the facilities are clean and comfortable. It is in an excellent location for visiting Wookey Hole caves and attractions. What really stood out for me was how nice all the staff were – it seemed like it was important to them that we enjoyed ourselves. This was true for the hotel and at all the attractions – thank you.
