The food was amazing in purdy lodge The steak and ale pie was the best I've had. The lodge has a truckers cafe 24/7 open on the end near the petrol station should you require anything. We didn't as the bar / restaurant provided plenty for your £.♥️ Very quiet room overlooking a farm field at the rear of the hotel with Bamburgh castle in the distance. We loved this place , well situated for hitting most tourists spots and dog friendly.

We both loved everything about the place! The food was some of the best we've ever had at a reasonable price. The lodge and hot tub were both of the highest quality. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.. we'll definitely be staying again, it was a perfect break!

Purdy lodge was clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and very helpful. The only down fall was the location just off the A1 some times you could hear the traffic going by but it wasn't a big problem. One think that was not mentioned was that purdy lodge was part of a service station but you did have 24hr cafe service if wanted.

We stayed one night while in a coastal road trip. The rooms are comfy and cozy, the heater.was.in for our arrival on a very cold evening. The Lodge is well served for food and drink with on site bar/restaurant and an attached 24.hour cagem there is also a nearby petrol staion and shop.

Natasha at the reception was the best, very helpful and accommodating, she accommodated our last minute request to stay in the ground floor since we have luggages. The breakfast was really good, there's a menu with few options. Nice lodge and restaurant.

Fabulous spacious but cosy lodge perfect for us and the dog. Restaurant food very good choice and beautiful quality. Looking forward to a return visit hopefully in better weather. Amazing wild empty beaches with a few miles easy parking and great for dog walking.

The room was very clean and of a good size, with two easy chairs to sit in instead of having to sit on the bed as is the case in some hotels we stayed in. Despite being situated just off the A1 the room was very quiet with a lovely view over fields. Purdy Lodge is well positioned for exploring a lot of the Northumberland Coastline The food at both breakfast and evening was good.
