Lodge was immaculate with all the required facilities. The view over the lake was amazing and the sunken hot tub was lovely. Will highly recommend to friends and family!

The staff and food was were amazing. Just cannot say enough about the place. The village is beautiful as well.

Set in York in the North Yorkshire region, The Old Potting Shed features a garden. The accommodation is 7 km from the York Minster. The lodge is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Everything really, from the lovely welcome by hosts Nick and Margie to the beautifully appointed accommodation, the excellent and generous breakfast and the delightful private garden. It was extremely comfortable, and we loved it.

Acorn Glade is an adult-only glamping retreat located on a lake-side meadow and woodland site on the fringes of the Vale of York and the Yorkshire Wolds. To say we had a wonderful stay, would be an understatement! Wendy was so welcoming and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The grounds are beautiful, very quiet and you really feel like you're in a little oasis, away from the city. The cabin we slept in was lovely, with cute decorations and there was tea and coffee available. Wendy gave us lots of tips to discover York as well! We only met Andrew on the last day of our stay but he was just as lovely as Wendy! I couldn't recommend Acorn Glade enough if you're looking to relax away from the city and feel like you're in your own little nature bubble. I could write 3 more paragraphs about how amazing our stay was with Wendy and Andrew, but I'll leave it at this :)
