We stayed here for our first wedding anniversary last year and were that happy we had to come back for our second anniversary. This is definitely our favorite place. The hot tub is amazing. The hosts are fantastic and always happy to answer any questions you may have.

We really enjoyed the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The hottub was amazing, the accommodation was very clean 👌 the customer service was brilliant, and responded swiftly with any questions we had. The room was cozy and well furnished, especially for hikers. Nigel was very kind, obliging and we enjoyed chatting with him. He gave us a warm welcome, as well as many indications on where to go for dinner and what to see nearby. The breakfast was very tasty.

Easy to figure out, or use of informative manual. Very decent sized rooms. Everything seemed quite new. Very quiet area - great for stargazing. Easy access to Kielder Forest Park and Hadrian's wall. Staff were very friendly, and quick to respond to queries whether through text or in person. Would love to go back again for sure!

Bamburgh castle is a 10 min drive away and Holy island is 20. Both definitely worth visiting.
