We really enjoyed the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The hottub was amazing, the accommodation was very clean 👌 the customer service was brilliant, and responded swiftly with any questions we had. Valley View Lodge is situated on Percy Wood Country Retreat, Swarland, Northumberland, surrounded by forest with nature walks, deer spotting, red squirrels and other wildlife in the vicinity. Lodge was perfect for exploring Northumberland. Was great to go back to after being out all day. Home from home - perfect.

Very quiet area - great for stargazing. Easy access to Kielder Forest Park and Hadrian's wall. Staff were very friendly, and quick to respond to queries whether through text or in person. Would love to go back again for sure!

Set in Hetton Law, near Lowick and Chatton in the Northumberland region, The Shepherds Hut is a self-catering accommodation set in its own garden area with a sun-room and patio area. Quirky and a met the brief for being quiet and in amazing countryside. we watched the wildlife daily. Owners have made this very homely.
