Valley View Lodge is situated on Percy Wood Country Retreat, Swarland, Northumberland, surrounded by forest with nature walks, deer spotting, red squirrels and other wildlife in the vicinity. Lodge was perfect for exploring Northumberland. Was great to go back to after being out all day. Home from home - perfect.

Offering a bar, Tranquil Lodge hot tub and free golf offers accommodation in Morpeth. The owners of this log cabin went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home with a basket of wine, biscuits and goodies on arrival, a Christmas tree and decorations up. This log cabin was so nice and had been decorated beautifully. Hot tub was perfect and staff came and cleaned it daily. The staff also came and took us along to the bari bar and collected us on a golf buggy to save getting all muddy walking along. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

All the essentials you need to self-cater. Easy to figure out, or use of informative manual. Very decent sized rooms. Everything seemed quite new. Very quiet area - great for stargazing. Easy access to Kielder Forest Park and Hadrian's wall. Staff were very friendly, and quick to respond to queries whether through text or in person. Would love to go back again for sure!
