My first visit and only stayed a couple of days so just time to visit Jephson park, and shopping area. Which were both lovely and grand. Learned about the history of the town the museum and Pump Rooms. I would say a very friendly town.

A lovely town though getting worse as all UK towns are.
A lovely town though getting worse as all UK towns are. Quite a few addicts, drunks and homeless people on the streets. Many shops closed but it's a pleasant walk around, lots of independent shops still open. There are dozens of coffee shops and restaurants.
The park is a gem. Quite beautiful. The art gallery is good and has a wonderful café.

We were visiting Leamington Spa for a family Christening, so we had limited time to explore the town. We had a meal out on our first and only evening and then spent the following morning wandering around the town. An interesting historical town, with lots of green spaces.

We visited the British motor museum whilst there and it was nice to walk around and see all the old vehicles and styles of road etc. We also went into Stratford-upon-Avon and had a walk around there which was lovely but busy. And we went to the butterfly house there which has more than just butterflies so was definitely worth the money! We also saw shakespeares birthplace which was interesting!
Fantastic breakfast, fresh and super delicious. Room was as always very clean such that even with covid restrictions where room would not be cleaned daily, my 3 days stay still had me leaving a very clean and comfy room thanks to a very high housekeeping standard. Location is my £1 with Th Angel Hotel as its a relatively easy ride from Heathrow, and hotel is located literally walking distance from food, shopping, chillout joints and the park. Perfect for short rest and relax getaways.
Breakfast was almost non existing, on the first morning we were told the chef was sick so were left with a few boxes of cereals bread to toast and jam. You had to hunt down the staff to bring you tea/coffee or things that had run out! This happened on each morning of our stay. Talking to other guests this was normal practice, they were told that the hotel doesn't actually always do a cooked breakfast! So don't look forward to one like we did!
Everything was spot on The hotel is set in beautiful grounds. We relaxed under the tree covered lawned area to the front of the property our Cockapoo Tilly loved to chill there. There is also an excellent doggie area for Tilly to 'spend a penny'. nothing was a problem for the staff who were friendly. Situated two miles from Leamington Spa town worth a visit. Also only Twenty minutes from Stratford upon Avon a must to visit.
Parking was free but limited spaces.
Check in was very easy and the staff very helpful.
The room was very nice and comfortable with bottled water, tea and coffee provided.
The hotel is conveniently located with restaurants, bars and shops close by and very easy to walk into the centre of Leamington Spa.
We enjoyed our stay there.
There was a good selection of fruit and cereals and juices for breakfast.
Every member of staff we met were friendly, cheerful and helpful. The hotel is immaculately clean, ample parking, really well appointed rooms, comfy beds and we had a room overlooking the garden which was really quiet. The breakfast was excellent with a big selection of cooked food made to order, served by such cheerful staff. A really great place to stay as there is lots to do within walking distance.
Very cosy, comfortable (and warm!) place to stay, right near the heart of Leamington Spa. Very close to shops, lots of great places to eat and only a short walk to the gardens, river and the station. Mark and Heather have thought of everything to make this a lovely little home away from home. This was my 2nd stay at Regent’s Retreat and I hope zi get the chance to come back
It’s cheap and cheerful for the hotels in the area, great walks, amenities and gyms in walking distance. The staff have been amazing, the place is about ready for a renovation but the staff hasn't met a problem they could sort out for me. Free wifi & breakfast
It does what it says on the Tin and it will continue to have my business.

Has a breakfast and evening food service. Had someone else's meal added to our account. We left quickly to get on the road and did not notice until after we left. Called up the hotel and they immediately cleared up the discrepancy. Handled well.
Everything - Excellent hosts, incredible location in a lovely town well worth a visit. You will be steps away from everything you need in Leamington Spa. Having a kitchen and laundry on site is an added bonus.
Lovely home with charming architectural features, excellent quiet location yet convenient by foot to all that Leamington Spa has to offer. Loved the kitchen and dining areas -- the Aga made the home so cozy!
The hotel is situated in a lovely grounds . We particularly enjoyed the views from our room across the fields. It’s within easy reach of Royal Leamington Spa and Kenilworth . Excellent value .
The apartment was perfect and in such a good location. Alain was really helpful and made everything very easy. We would not hesitate to stay there again.
