The Elvetham is a historic 19th-century Victorian Mansion built upon the remains of a Tudor Manor and set within 35 acres of gardens. We stayed in the stable block. The room was very comfortable and the shower luxurious. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the beautiful conservatory restaurant and also enjoyed a walk around the grounds. We had such a lovely one night stay. A real treat.

Two miles from the M3 and a 6-minute drive from Blackwater Train Station, Abacus Bed and Breakfast, Blackwater, Hampshire is set close to the Surrey and Berkshire borders. Situated down a wonderfully quiet private road, this B&B was ideal for an overnight stay. The room was small but perfectly clean and tidy - and importantly very warm too, which was appreciated on a cold December day/night! Great little bathrooms (the showers are nicely powerful!) and a kitchen with everything one could immediately need. The owner was really helpful, and very welcoming too. The little cards next to the door with a list of taxi numbers are a useful touch. We only stayed briefly overnight (to attend a Ball at RMA Sandhurst) but for what we needed staying here was absolutely perfect. To be recommended!
