Located in the small village of South Warnborough and just 15 minutes from the home of Jane Austen, is The Poacher Inn. a perfect small hotel in the middle of the English countryside ! the rooms were very clean and spacious and even though the room looked to the street , it was very quiet ! Breakfast was full English and we enjoyed every bite of it ! we really liked the pub right on the ground floor and it had a wonderful garden to sit outside but its people is always the best asset ! John was a marvellous host , always smiling and friendly and along with his wife , they run together the family business! we enjoyed every moment there , thank you again for your hospitality!

Location was in middle of Odiham, great for driving surrounding areas. Staff very friendly. We stayed in the family room which had bunk beds for my two children. Low ceilings, wooden joists, different levels to the flooring, all made us appreciate the historic building we were staying in. Would definitely stay here again.

The annex had all we needed and the hosts were lovely when we met them, and very helpful with all we needed. we'd definitely stay here again.
