Staying at The Belmont was an absolute joy. Our room was very comfortable and met all our needs. Sarah the host is such a warm friendly lady and it was a real pleasure to meet Sarah. she has such a beautiful personality and nothing was any trouble to look after her guests . Her personal touches to make our stay so special was outstanding and would not hesitate staying at the Belmont if we are lucky enough to get to Northumberland again. it was an absolute joy to meet Sarah and her husband Bobby and we wish them both well .

couldn’t fault the property. Lynn was so welcoming, the rooms really comfortable. excellent breakfast. truely home away from home.

Great location and a modern clean room. Sauna and hot tub were ideal after a long day. Will stay here again.

Situated in the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed in the Northumberland countryside, Castle Vale House is a quiet, family-run Victorian country house with free parking and free Wi-Fi.

Our stay here was very nice. The room is very spacious with comfortable sofas and a direct, fantastic view on the old railway bridge and the river. The owners and their 1 staff member are very kind and they really make you feel at home. The breakfast is in a beautiful room and while enjoying the food classical music is played, which brings a relaxed ambiance. Although the house is just a few steps away from the railway station there is no traffic noise. The centre can be easily reached by food via the car free food path along the river. We can fully recommend this B&B.
