when we arrived we were met by Mary who with a message the night before had our room ready at 2 instead of 4 she was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable, the room had more than enoigh facilities to cater for our needs, and the breakfast in the morning was better than expected, if we are ever in the area I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Everything about our stay was a delight. Caroline is a perfect host, who will treat you as a guest in the true sense -nothing is too much trouble, and you feel very quickly that you are 'at home'. The location is a perfect English village, and the house is gracious and tasteful. Breakfast is delicious , and served on beautiful English china in the traditional manner. We were very sad to leave, and are already making plans to return as soon as possible. A holiday to remember, always.
