    Lovely warm welcome, comfortable room with all amenities needed for a short stay. Helpful friendly staff who couldn't do enough to ensure we had a good stay. Bar had a great atmosphere with good selection of drinks. Great location to visit Sandown Racecourse.

    The Bear Inn is a very charming & professionally run hotel. Downstairs is a great local pub with attentive staff, and the hotel up stairs is cosy, quiet & full of character. The bed was extremely comfortable with great beds along with the best hotel breakfast We've ever had!
