グラスミアの中心にあり、小さな道を湖側に少し入ったところにあるので、非常に静かな環境でした。 Doveコテージまで徒歩で行けます。 朝食は、すぐ近くの「The Good Sport」というレストランで食べることができます。 いわゆるEnglish Breakfastで美味しかった。 小さなB&Bなので、静かで、湖畔まで歩いて出られます。 駐車スペースも部屋分ありレンタカーの利用にも便利でした。 部屋は大変清潔で期待以上でした。 共有スペースには、周辺のトレッキングルートの地図なども置いてあり、大変役に立ちました。

チェックインが遅くなってしまいましたが、レセプションのかたが待っていてくださいました。重いスーツケースを運んでいただいて、部屋に入ったら、星が観察できる部屋にグレードアップしていただきました。 5月でしたが寒かったので、部屋やバスルームのヒーターを入れて暖かくすごすことができてよかったです。 スタッフは優しく親切でほんとうに よくお世話をしていただきました。

We absolutely loved the Badger Bar. It was by far the best place we stayed on our trip to the U.K. It's historical, with lovely.decor and extremely clean & comfortable rooms. The bed was comfy, the shower's water pressure was fine. Soap, shampoo & lotions were all provided, as well as coffee, tea, & cookies. The food was great; they serve a wonderful breakfast, with a great variety of choices, all delicious. The dinners served in the pub were fabulous - again, many choices, including the best fish & chips ever, not to mention the desserts! The staff were awesome, so friendly and helpful. And what a great location! Wonderful walks and trails in every direction, & the bus stop just steps away if you need to travel further afield And so much history! Wordsworth lived quite nearby!. Best of all, every night they feed the badgers and you can go out and watch. It was great fun!
