Florence Nightingale Suites at Lea Hurst is located in Highpeak Junction and offers free bikes, a garden and a shared lounge. The bed and breakfast features garden views and is 28 km from Derby.

Peter and his family made our stay so wonderful! He gave us a lot of recommendations for sights to see around the area and hiking trails. We got the full English countryside experience! The house and the gardens are so lovely. So much care has been taken when renovating the house and honoring Florence Nightingale's history. The bed was also really comfortable. We slept really well. It's one of the most relaxing places I've been to!

A fabulous place to stay. Accommodation, breakfast and views great. Hosts exceedingly welcoming and helpful. The best place we have stayed whilst travelling in the UK for three weeks. Would recommend the Gables to anyone travelling to the Peak district.

my experience was lovely at the cables. friendly host and cosy atmosphere. the room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious :)

Lovely room for 3 adults ( sisters) Double bed & bunk beds in adjoining area. Super comfy bed with luxurious bed linen. Super extras - chocs, mince pies & bottle of Prosecco. Welcome note from host Michael was a lovely touch. Tea & coffee making facilities with Fresh milk in fridge ( much appreciated- so much better than the normal jiggers ) Great host who was very helpful with local suggestions. House itself is really elegant & homely - a posh b & b without being pretentious it’s a little gem of a place.

Cascades Gardens is situated in the village of Bonsall, on the edge of the Peak District.

Everything - staff, breakfast, room and gardens were all excellent. Also had opportunity to have a customised bonsai scenario made for us as a present for family member.
