This is a super convenient location, central to town and shops, yet quiet at night. The room was clean, with a really comfortable bed and sofa. Wifi reception was great. I liked the old post office memorabilia. Jamie is a lovely host - friendly and helpful.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Building is over 300 years old and has fantastic character. Location was great—at the end of the little street of shops. If looking for a pub experience, highly recommend.

Wonderful hosts, perfect breakfast and a view that will take your breath away. The rooms are decorated with taste and we had a wonderful night of sleep after crossing the Channel. Will have to come back as soon as we can!

Location of the hotel is perfect. Restaurant and bar is convenient downstairs. We stayed in January, it might be noisier st peak season

It was charming. The rooms and baths were spacious, nicely decorated and quiet. It was easy access from the Euro Tunnel which is exactly what we needed!

Sharon was very plesant and extremely helpful. she upgraded us to a family sized room which was so very kind and comfortable. after such a long trip, sharon helped us by giving us a warm exit to such a hard day and went out of her way to give us a comfy and relaxing time. our cats also loved the room. i think they were sad to leave :p

staff and owner were friendly, helpful and very eager to go extra mile to help . cake in the afternoon for tea was awesome and very well received.
