The location of the Ship Inn is as central as can be and the staff were absolutely great! They definitely made me feel welcome and nobody seemed to be "just working here". Breakfast was delicious and made to order for each guest - so fresh-off-the-pan bacon and eggs, full English, continental - whatever you'd like! I also tried the pub menu for dinner once and that was great as well. The pub seemed to be popular with locals, which is always a good sign.

Fantastic place , amazing hosts .they have thought of every little touch . We have felt incredible spoilt . Food has been delicious. Jacuzzi and pool an added luxury and the wood shed itself done to such a high standard . We will be back, Thanks so much .

Amazing breakfast served by incredible hosts. Great surprise was to experience Michelin level dinner experience in pub Old Beams, next door to Thatched Eaves. Very short drive distance to Burley, from where can explore New Forest.
