A superb B&B in a rural setting. Our hosts, Jonathan and Mary, could not do more for us. In fact, at their insistence, they washed and ironed a load of our dirty laundry. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, with a choice of cereals, juice, yoghurt and fruit compotes, as well as your choice of a cooked breakfast.

This stay was fantastic! The hosts are so kind and helpful! We loved the location and the atmosphere of the accommodation. Chris and Nicky have made this place very cosy, clean and peaceful. They can be very proud. The breakfast is amazing, there is so much choice and although we don't eat much in the morning, we enjoyed it very much. Everything you need is there. There is a fridge, a hairdryer, even a dressing table.

What an amazing place! Situated deep in the Shropshire countryside, very quiet and peaceful farmhouse, amidst farmland and woodland. We just sat there and observed, sparrowhawks, kites, owls, woodpeckers, an ornithologist's dream. The room was huge, and the bed was so comfortable, a great breakfast set you up for the day. Sit outside and watch the sunset with a glass of wine, or watch an aurora as we did. Perfect base for exploring the area but nice to return to peace and quiet.

The breakfast was both continental and cooked. Excellent preparation for a day's sight-seeing. We have answered all your questions by ticking boxes but have to say that magnificent reports on your website were in no way misleading. It was an old building, very well modernised. Cooking was excellent. A good wine list. Tables on the lawn faced the river. Although the front of the hotel faced the road, traffic noise was not noticeable and bedrooms were very quiet.

Fantastic place to stay in superb location for exploring shropshire AONB, Offa's Dyke, the marshes. Friendly and kind hosts with 2 superb rooms. Surprise fresh cookies and cake daily! I don't often leave reviews, but The Hall is ideally matched to our expectations/requirements. Will return.

Nice large room, accommodating staff and a fantastic location. Just a short walk over the river, up the hill and you are in Ludlow.
