Room was clean and comfortable and had everything required. Food was excellent and staff very friendly and attentive and went out of their way to accommodate our requirements. Car parking outside room was a welcome bonus.

Kay provided us with a wonderful breakfast, and arranged lots of vegan alternatives for me. The B&B was a short walk from Pocklington, and from there we were able to catch the bus into York and be in the centre of town within 45 minutes. We would absolutely come back and stay again, we had a lovely time

The host was very accomadating and provided us with food so we didn't have to ride to town for dinner as we arrived on our bicycles and it was raining. Very much appreciated.

The place was beautiful and so peaceful (even with next door's cows mooing and sheep baa-ing - which we found quite amusing). The room itself was very spacious, clean and comfortable, and felt like home. They had left us with a bag of croissants, a couple pan au chocolats, plenty of tea and coffee, a full bottle of milk and even some orange juice. There was also some butter in the fridge. There was even shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom. The bed was soooooo comfy, I fell asleep in the afternoon while watching telly. 😂 There are dog bowls in the room in case guests don't have them and even a towel for the dog. 2 nights definitely wasn't enough, and hopefully we get to stay here again if our adventures bring us back to the area. We booked a table at The Half Moon Inn and took advantage of their steak night which was also amazing! Claire and Shaun were incredibly welcoming and never made us feel awkard/uncomfortable during our stay. Our dog, Archie was so happy to meet Bruno and have a little run around in the spacious garden. It also feels secure with the gate. Would 100% recommend anyone to book this accommodation, you wouldn't be disappointed! There's no wonder they're almost always fully booked on booking.com. The photos don't do it justice, you have to go there and experience the tranquility of the place yourself! We would love to visit again in the future ❤️
