It is a wonderful little place to stay. It is very special with all the cars around that you can have a look at. Amazing to think the owners made all of it themselves. The breakfast area is so much fun! I wish I could have stayed longer.

Amazing place, great people and hospitality, lovely breakfast. The personnel was very helpful, if you need to book a taxi and flexible so to stay in your room a little bit longer. The city has good options for restaurants; the staff were really helpful; the room in general was really comfortable; and the bed was really good. I only spent the night at the hotel so I could get to Stansted Airport early, but it appears that it is worthwhile to spend more time there. The city is very charming.

We were taking an early morning flight from Stansted so the location was perfect. The room is in the roof area of a very old building so low doors and ceilings. Check in was via a key code which was sent in advance and all went smoothly. Beds were comfy, the room warm and perfect for an overnight stay. I would have preferred a shower but there was only a bath but it wasn't a problem, it was in the description, everything was clean and fresh. We ate downstairs in the bar, the food was great and if anyone deserves a mention is was the lady working the bar, she was a diamond, very pleasant and friendly and made the stay even more enjoyable. Bear in mind the building is 400 years old so it has its own character. 5 stars.
