The entire accommodation and communication / welcome were exceptional. The room was ultra clean with a very comfortable bed and attention paid to every detail. Quiet location with good access to main roads and local shops. I cannot find anything to improve upon.

Breakfast was freshly prepared by the owner. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It was very nice and we hope to come back in the future.

The inn has two rooms in an outbuilding detached from the pub, so I didn't find noise to be an issue at all. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and very accommodating. Room was large and spacious, with a good-sized bathroom to match. The inn is an a quiet village outside of Cambridge, which I guess could be good or bad, depending on your tastes. There is a bus stop directly in front of the pub if you don't have a car. The hot breakfast (full english for me) was delicious and generously portioned. I would absolutely stay again.

The staff were so nice I enjoy my stay I love the drinks 24 hours a day it was near a bus stop to Cambridge I loved shellford lodge I also got a fridge witch was amazing very nice stay thank you Sharon xx

Janet and Simon made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The tea and homemade cake when we arrived plus the tin of flapjacks and fresh flowers in our room were all lovely touches. The house and room was tastefully decorated and the breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend!

Such a cute room with lots of space that had everything we needed for our nights stay. The bed is very comfortable. We loved the mini fridge, and this place was decorated wonderfully. Nice touches everywhere. Very comfortable.

Excellent location, very quiet. Good size room which was wonderfully warm when we arrived on a very cold day with snow and ice everywhere. The staff were very friendly, especially Alan who runs an excellent establishment. Fabulous atmosphere and good quality food on the menu. The breakfast was substantial and brought to us with a cheery smile each morning. Great biscuits supplied with tea, coffee and hot chocolate! Plenty of car parking available.
