Had a fantastic night at the Horse and Groom. Booked the hotel as it was dog friendly and they made our little furry boy feel so welcome with a lovely bed set out for him with food and water bowls and a nice little welcome pack. They also have a lovely little dog menu. We decided to stay for our evening meal. The food was delicious and arrived nice and quick. The staff where amazing we would definitely stay here again

Perfect position just off the main square in Stow but quiet as it’s at the back of the courtyard of the tearoom. Excellent breakfast all freshly prepared and cooked. The staff in the tearoom were lovely. Not a cheap stay but Stow is an expensive place and it was a competitive price. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

The hotel is like a tardis. Charming and quaint from the outside, but as good as any shabby sheik London hotel on the inside. Big, top class restaurant with patio doors on to the deck run by efficient, friendly staff. Lovely loft style bedrooms with thoughtful touches, excellent sound-proofing and a big comfy bed. Every mod con has been afforded throughout. We’re on a 1,000 mile southern England road trip staying at 7 different locations and we’d say that this boutique, luxury stay is highly recommended and one of top tips.

I liked the decor of the room and it was very comfortable with a good bed and little sofa. Good shower and fluffy towels. Location was very close in walking distance to town. Private parking in the back. Breakfast was served to the room and only continental due to Covid-19 with fresh fruit basket. Very quiet. Enjoyed the stay.
