Everything in the property was comfortable, the staff were very welcoming on arrival and couldn’t have been more helpful. The food in the restaurant was first class for both dinner and breakfast. I would definitely stay there again .

The owners, the staff, the locals and the setting really make this place. The garden is really nice and the building itself is in really good shape and has a lot of interesting historical features to take in. We were leaving very early for a motorbike course and a delicious lunch was prepared for us to take with us as we were missing breakfast that morning. We did get to try the breakfast the next day and can confirm it was delicious and made using proper sausages and locally sourced eggs etc. There was a free live band provided on the Sat night and they were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

They really couldn't have gone to more trouble with the facilities... everything you could want on hand.Good quality fittings and a bargain price. Rural location, but close to civilisation with a car!
