There was a slight hiccup at check-in but Jordan and his team leapt into action and solved the problem within minutes, very courteous and apologetic and really helpful. Never judge someone on a problem, judge them on how they put it right, and I couldn't fault them. Would book again without a second thought.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left West Lodge was perfect. Fabulously comfortable rooms, ample tea and coffee (and more available if required) excellent wifi, superb breakfast, lush garden...and all served by a charming host. We really could not recommend this hotel enough.

Staff were great and ready to help. The family room was large and spacious for a group of 5 of us (2 adults and 3 small children). The grounds of the hotel were lush with numerous peacocks roaming around. The spa and pool facilities were as expected. Breakfast was great compared to other cheaper chains.

The property was attractive, in a quiet rural location, quite private and well kept. There were plenty of items provided (tea, ground coffee, milk, croissants, jam etc) for a continental breakfast. The upstairs bedroom in particular was comfortably furnished and all the appliances were in good working order.
