What a fantastic place!? A beautiful location in the Staffordshire countryside. The property itself has been set up wonderfully, with an outside sitting area and beautiful surrounding gardens. It is only a 15 min drive to Alton Towers, which is why we went, but it was a lovely place to stay. The fan was a great extra touch because when we stayed, it was 30 degrees that day! A great breakfast in the morning too.

Everything was perfect. The location is excellent, it's 5 minutes walk to the town center. We stayed here to attend Uttoxeter races, this is within walking distance. The room is very nice, it has a big ensuite and everything you need (home from home). Also as an extra bonus to the room.. the bed is really really comfortable. Peter is a great host. Thank you for a perfect stay 😁

The guest room is the ideal place for someone to stay as it combines a very peaceful and quiet environment plus very welcoming hosts. It's near to the Alton towers so it's a perfect place to stay overnight after a full day of entertainment on the theme park. It's also affordable compared to the other options.

Our 2nd vidit here. Staff were lovely as usual. The nice, characterful rooms are clean. The breakfast was really good, and big. Although,you mainly have to drive here (there are some buses) The village. Is fantastic. Four great pubs, at least a couple do really nice food, and there's a really good Indian resturant. We've had two really enjoyable evenings there.

Breakfast full English plus cereal. Anita went out of her way to make us fell comfortable and welcome. Gave us cake to take on our trip. Would come again
