what a lovely hostess. We walk the coastpath and some places are difficult to reach by public transport. The hostess dropped us off somewhere. That was so nice and gave us opportunities for a beautiful walk. The atmosphere in Countryman Inn is casual and cozy. Good food and drinks for a good price. absolutely everything. the room is clean and comfortable with plenty of space for clothes etc, tea facilities as well as a nice en suite too. The view is absolutely amazing as well as the garden and house too. Really lovely, i wish i lived there! Plenty of options for breakfast including a full english, cereal, vegetarian options etc. All home cooked and delicious too! Lots of choice and you can change things too, for example we asked for no eggs, but this does need to be asked in advanced which is fair enough! Hosts are lovely, which even extends to their pets (also adorable!). I couldn’t praise this enough. It’s a home away from home.

the location. the room was very plain and simple, absolutely charming, with a wonderful Terrasse with views of the sea. the food was great, breakfast, full English, with everything you could possibly want, snack at lunchtime excellent and dinner was always cooked to perfection, whatever we ate. finally, the staff, with no exception were all so pleasant and efficient, and charming. and special thanks to the lady who cleaned the room, every day she replenished our supplies of tea and coffee. we didn’t even have to ask!!! she is a treasure.
