Located within 23 km of FlyDSA Arena and 35 km of Buxton Opera House in Chesterfield, The Peacock at Barlow provides accommodation with seating area. Had a fantastic stay at the Peacock. Shower was fabulous. Food both dinner and breakfast was very good.

We felt very welcome as soon as we arrived. Lynn gave us lots of information about the area. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice.. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The pre-ordered breakfasts offered a wide selection of cold and hot breakfast items, highly adjustable to one's preferences. The hosts further provided us with recommendations of local restaurants and activities.

The room was absolutely gorgeous. Lovely huge bathroom, huge bed and a really comfy sofa. Plenty of wardrobe space. Tea and coffee making. 2 wine glasses and a bottle opener. A refillable glass bottle of cold water in the fridge and a bottle of milk. There were hand soap and shower/shampoo (all refillable) which is great to see rather than individual toiletries. There were guide books in the hallway that you could borrow for walking and cycling. The owner was really welcoming and very accommodating. Beautiful house. Location was perfect.
