Ideally situated on Stranraer seafront, overlooking Loch Ryan and just 5 minutes' walk from the town centre and train station, this family-run guest house offers free Wi-Fi, ample, free, off-street... The host, Elaine, was exceptional. Our room was at the back of the house and nice and quiet. Complimentary sips of whisky and chocolate helped us relax after a terrible travel day. Easy walking to city center and train station. Vegan breakfast was delicious.

Located in Moffat, 33 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club and 36 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club, Kirkview House provides accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. This room had a fabulous view of downtown Moffat and a wonderful stone wall. Over breakfast our host filled us in on the long history of the house and his experience renovating it. The room is right downtown, close to everything and the stay was delightful.

Corsewall Arms Guest House is situated in Stranraer and offers a terrace. Jo was very helpful. I came from Belfast with Stena Line. The ferry had five hours delay. That meant I arrived at Cosewell Arms at midnight. Jo (the owner) organized the "key-box" and I could enter without problem. The next morning a complete Scottish breakfast. GREAT

Beautifully renovated manse, excellent facilities in centre of village, magnificent breakfasts, personable owners justifiably proud of what they have achieved.

Located in Newton Stewart in the Dumfries and Galloway region, Fordbank House provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property features garden and inner courtyard views. Great location between Wigtown and the Bladnoch Distillery. The house was immaculate and nicely decorated. My wife is a gardener and really appreciated all the fresh flowers inside. This was our first trip since COVID and we had some special needs that our hosts graciously accommodated. Best place we stayed during our vacation.
