A beautiful place to enjoy the nature (the view to the mountains, watching wild rabbits, birds etc.) after an active hiking day. The room was just perfect. The best breakfast in the UK! The hosts are very friendly and genuinely nice people. We would love to come back soon.

Situated in Elgin and only 600 metres from Elgin Cathedral, The Pines Guest House features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. What a charming B&B! Lyn was a great host and was kind enough to let us check in early and store our bicycles in a shed so they were dry for the next days ride. The home itself has a lot of historic charm and I appreciated the attention to detail in the room. As a bonus it is in walking distance to downtown shops and pubs. WiFi worked well for Zoom. If ever we are in the area again I will definitely book this place. oh! and the full Scottish breakfast was fabulous. Everything felt well above the price we paid.

So charming, well appointed, very comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The clawfoot tub was a big bonus! The hosts were absolutely lovely, and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Breakfast was perfect. Couldn’t fault a thing.

On arrival, I was greeted warmly by the owners. Good explanation of scanning in/signing in for track and trace purposes. I was shown to my room and given a tour. I was clearly advised where the breakfast would be served and there is a lot of choice for breakfast, even if I wasn't a big eater. Bonus was that I explained that I wasn't a tea/coffee drinker and the following morning I had a larger glass of OJ! Very thoughtful.
