The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. It has fantastic atmosphere. it feels like traveling back in time!! We loved the breakfast!!

Offering a restaurant, The Greyhound Inn is located in Staple Fitzpaine. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV. Excellent menu and plenty of choices. Food was fresh and well presented. This is one of the friendliest country pubs we have stayed in. Ideal location and easy to access.

The Bower Inn is an 18th-century building, located just off the M5 motorway and 2 miles from Bridgwater town centre. It offers stylish rooms with luxury bathrooms and delicious homemade food. Very nice and cosy, friendly staff, ideal for exploring around Somerset. We had a lovely time.

Boasting garden views, Glastonbury Hideaway features accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 43 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. Andy and Julie were so kind to us, and also offered suggestions for local itinerary. The Hideaway room was amazing, with lots of little thoughtful touches and gorgeously decorated. The garden view outside was lovely and so enjoyable. We slept like rocks in the comfortable and cool Hideaway. We cannot recommend this gem enough for a stay in the Glastonbury area. We will definitely stay here on future visits!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Crookes House is a recently renovated guest house situated in Weston-super-Mare, 1.1 km from Sand Bay Beach. Great breakfast, room comfortable, hosts friendly and welcoming. Separate Living room available for guest use. Good parking. Property situated close to good walks and local bus.

Located in Cheddar, the recently renovated The Old Police House offers accommodation 27 km from Ashton Court and 29 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. Very warm and lovely welcome from Lyn. The Old Police House is a very special place, small but there‘s everything you need. Comfortable bed, cooking place, fridge… Lyn recommended us a few good places to go out and have diner, within walking distance. We would really come back once. Thank you Lyn for your kindness and helpfulness.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Maplestone is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Shepton Mallet, 29 km from Bath Spa Train Station. Wow! What a fantastic B&B! The furnishings and decor were top notch, super comfy beds, and the garden patio area was absolutely gorgeous! Alan was a superb host - we enjoyed our visit with him very much! He recommended a great Indian restaurant that was a short walk away, and the food there was delicious! Alan had a wonderful breakfast in the morning for us. Overall we were delighted with our stay. We wished we could have stayed for another night!

Greenlands Guest House, a property with a garden, is situated in Highbridge, 47 km from Ashton Court, 47 km from Bristol Zoo Gardens, as well as 48 km from Bristol Cathedral. Everything we needed was there and spotless, car parking and our host went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Lovely couple thoroughly recommend

Boasting garden views, The Potting Shed, self contained, detached retreat in Shapwick village offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 44 km from Ashton Court. We absolutely loved everything! Since the first moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by Mathew, we felt at home. The potting shed is so lovely decorated, and it had everything we needed for a cozy stay. The bed and pillows are so comfortable, and the view of the room is so nice. I felt o could live there :) .. To finish our wonderful stay, breakfast was DELICIOUS!!! From homemade bread, to homemade muesli cereal!! And healthy salmon, eggs and fresh spinach from the garden!!! Mathew asked us if we wanted salmon or bacon, I felt this was very special that we could choose. The table was so beautiful decorated, even with a candle and a peaceful view to the garden. We enjoyed EVERYTHING! Also, we had great conversations and left full hearted! RECOMMEND 100 % and we’ll stay again if we come by in the future! Thank you, Mathew
